Softball Recap: Pinelands Regional Takes a Loss

Pinelands Regional and Hammonton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Pinelands Regional had to settle for second. They lost 14-1 to the Blue Devils. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pinelands Regional's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Hammonton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.

Pinelands Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hammonton, they will face off against Delsea on Wednesday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
