            Princeton won the last time they faced Goldsboro and things went their way  on Friday too. Princeton blew past Goldsboro 11-1.

 Andrew Allnutt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits (and only one walk). Princeton is undefeated when  Allnutt allowsone or  fewer  earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise. Allnutt was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Princeton got a  massive  performance out of  Evan Pate, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That  stolen base was  Pate's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Cade Gurley, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Princeton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Goldsboro only posted  an  OBP of  .261.
Princeton's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Goldsboro, their defeat was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-8.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Princeton is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Spring Creek  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Goldsboro will  take on  rival North Johnston  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
