Soccer Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

Wilmington lost against North Reading back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Hornets, falling 3-0. Wilmington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wilmington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Reading, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Wilmington will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Winchester at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Wilmington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for North Reading, they will challenge Reading Memorial at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
