Monroe typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Big Foot proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged the Monroe Cheesemakers out 3-2.

Holly Kynell spent all 14 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in 12 consecutive pitching appearances.
