Softball Recap: North Pole Takes a Loss

North Pole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hutchison Hawks.

North Pole saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Borgen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Rylee Smith, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

North Pole's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

North Pole didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 30-4 loss against Kodiak on the 3rd. As for Hutchison, they will be taking part in a tournament against Colony at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
