Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was the 10-5 winner over Ridgeview when they last played one another on April 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The matchup marked the Generals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Bledoe, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Lee and nudges their season record down to 8-6-1. As for Ridgeview, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee will square off against rival Central Wise at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridgeview is set to take on their familiar foe Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
