Softball Recap: Elkhorn Elks vs. Burlington Demons
Elkhorn lost to Burlington back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Elks came out on top against the Demons by a score of 4-1.
Veronica Siegler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits.

Elkhorn's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Burlington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
Elkhorn will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Demons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
