Baseball Recap: Indian Creek's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Indian Creek strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Brooke Bruins get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Not much got past Sylus Hyde, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Brooke off the board.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ty Householder, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Householder is also crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Indian Creek's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Brooke, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will welcome East Liverpool at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brooke, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Beaver Local at 5:15 p.m.
