Basketball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hockinson Hawks. Even if the Beavers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Woodland's record now sits at 2-12. As for Hockinson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland will face off against Washougal at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hockinson has already played their next matchup (against Ridgefield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
