Volleyball Recap: Smith Center Redmen vs. Hoisington Cardinals
Smith Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Hoisington Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redmen of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17.
Smith Center's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Hoisington, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.
Smith Center will take on Hoxie on Tuesday. As for Hoisington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory vs. Central Plains on the 28th.
