Volleyball Recap: Sesser-Valier Takes a Loss

Sesser-Valier lost against Trico back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Pioneers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-9.

Leading Trico to victory were Jaida Conway and Greta Jones. Conway had five aces and four digs, while Jones had 13 digs. Those five aces gave Conway a new career-high.

Sesser-Valier has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Trico, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-6.

Sesser-Valier has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Goreville on the 13th. As for Trico, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Christopher on the 14th.
