Basketball Game Preview: Sky View Bobcats vs. Logan Grizzlies

The Sky View Bobcats will square off against the Logan Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, Sky View beat Mountain Crest 59-46.

Meanwhile, Logan strolled past West Field with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 70-53.

Sky View better keep an eye on Reed Olsen. He was instrumental in Logan's win, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards. Olsen has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 13 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Milo Steele, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Logan was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Sky View, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Sky View strolled past Logan in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 64-47. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Logan's Ethan Woolley, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Sky View still be able to contain Woolley? There's only one way to find out.
