Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal vs. Riverwalk Academy Lions
The Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 86-37 victory over Riverwalk Academy. The win was a breath of fresh air for Brashier Middle College Charter as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
It was another big night for Nick Mattison, who scored 20 points along with five assists and three steals. Andrew Hutchens was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Brashier Middle College Charter's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Riverwalk Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Brashier Middle College Charter will head out on the road to square off against High Point Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. High Point Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Riverwalk Academy, they will be playing at home against Lewisville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Lewisville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Riverwalk Academy likes a good challenge.
