Carolina M's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cameron Marshall, who scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Marshall has scored at least 25% of Carolina M's points. Cayden McClain was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Cresset Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carolina M, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Cresset Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Neuse Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. As for Carolina M, they will head out on the road to face off against Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
