Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). They came out on top against the OnTech Wolves by a score of 74-63 on Monday. Given the Red Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Wolves are ranked 660th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

With the victory, St. Francis broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-5. As for OnTech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Francis will square off against Bishop Timon-St. Jude at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bishop Timon-St. Jude's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 contests. OnTech has already played their next game (against Cincinnatus Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
