Basketball Recap: Quincy Orioles vs. Pennfield Panthers
There's no place like home for the Quincy Orioles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 46-33 victory over Pennfield on Monday.
Quincy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyssa McCavit out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyl Musielewicz, who scored 11 points.
Quincy's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Pennfield, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Quincy will head out on the road to challenge the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lenawee Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Pennfield, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
