Centennial entered their contest against Cambridge on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Centennial Knights fell 46-39 to the Cambridge Bears. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Centennial lost, don't look at Caleb Barbas. Despite the final result, he rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Those 181 rushing yards gave Barbas a new career-high. Jake Hickox also helped out with an impressive 98 receiving yards.

A big part of Cambridge's win came down to the chemistry between Weston Taylor and his top target Craig Dandridge. Taylor threw for 393 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.4 yards per attempt while Dandridge picked up 221 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Dandridge torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 72 yards.

Centennial's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2. As for Cambridge, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kell the next time they take the field. Centennial will head out to face Kell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Cambridge will host them at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.
