Basketball Recap: North Hills Christian Skates Past Covenant Classical with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carmel Christian, North Hills Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 78-47 victory over the Covenant Classical Warriors. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Maverick Ball was his usual excellent self, going 13 for 20 en route to 34 points and three steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of North Hills Christian's points. Adarion Hawkins was another key player, going 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points.

North Hills Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Covenant Classical lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ian Lejeune, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Mullery, who scored 13 points.
