Highland had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eastside Lions by a score of 10-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-9 back in March.

Highland got a massive performance out of Paisley Memory, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave Memory a new career-high. Kenzie Martinez was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Highland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastside struck out eight times.

Highland's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Eastside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7-1 record this season.

Highland will challenge Quartz Hill at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastside, they will square off against Knight at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.64 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
