Baseball Game Preview: Holland Dutch vs. Spring Lake Lakers

For the second straight game, Holland will face off against Spring Lake. The Dutch will challenge the Lakers at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Holland is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Holland made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Spring Lake, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Dutch fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 4-2 on Monday.

Tanner Kingery was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Spring Lake and bumps their season record up to 27-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Holland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-19.
