Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Bard Falcons
The Roosevelt Roughriders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 76-8 victory over Bard on the road. That 76-8 margin sets a new team best for Roosevelt this season.
Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Simmons Evony'e, who scored 15 points along with six steals. Evony'e continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelis Williams, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Bard, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Roosevelt will head out on the road to face off against Cardozo at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bard, they will play host again and welcome Banneker, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
