Football Game Preview: Dobyns-Bennett Indians vs. Claiborne Bulldogs

The Dobyns-Bennett Indians will take on the Claiborne Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dobyns-Bennett has three straight wins, Claiborne has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Claiborne heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Dobyns-Bennett took over last week. The Indians came out on top against Jefferson County by a score of 21-14 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Claiborne was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 19-13 to Chuckey-Doak.

Dobyns-Bennett will have to contain Aden Roark as he made an impact in Claiborne's last game. He rushed for 107 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Dobyns-Bennett's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Claiborne, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
