Baseball Game Preview: Santa Teresa Saints vs. Christopher Cougars

For the second straight game, Santa Teresa will face off against Christopher. The Saints are taking a road trip to face off against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Santa Teresa fell victim to Christopher and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Cougars. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Santa Teresa got a good showing from Micah DeLap, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. That's the fewest hits DeLap has allowed since back in April.

The win made it two in a row for Christopher and bumps their season record up to 14-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Santa Teresa, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
