Tri-Valley got themselves on the board against Sheridan on Tuesday, but Sheridan never followed suit. They came out on top against the Generals by a score of 4-0. The Scotties haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Tri-Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Kaufman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Tri-Valley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sheridan struck out nine times.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Sheridan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.

Tri-Valley and Sheridan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Scotties will square off against New Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (41 vs. 462). Meanwhile, Sheridan (ranked 184th) will meet West Muskingum (ranked 445th) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
