Basketball Game Preview: Litchfield Terriers vs. Hillsdale Academy Colts

Litchfield hasn't had much luck against Hillsdale Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Back in December of 2024, Litchfield earned a 23-16 victory over Will Carleton Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Terriers.

Meanwhile, Hillsdale Academy lost 43-21 to Reading two weeks ago. The Colts have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The win got Litchfield back to even at 3-3. As for Hillsdale Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Litchfield and Hillsdale Academy were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but Litchfield came up empty-handed after a 38-37 loss. Can Litchfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
