Volleyball Recap: Alta Takes a Loss

If Alta was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Brighton last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks came up short against the Woods Cross Wildcats on Friday, falling 3-0. The Hawks have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-8.

Alta's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Woods Cross, their victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Alta is set to square off against their familiar foe Viewmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woods Cross will take on rival Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
