Basketball Game Preview: Bradwell Institute Tigers vs. Rome Wolves

The Bradwell Institute Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Rome Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bradwell Institute's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

Last Friday, Bradwell Institute strolled past Greenbrier with points to spare, taking the game 63-49.

It was another big night for Jaylin Sweat, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zi`On Thomas, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 16 points.

Meanwhile, Rome came up short against Alexander on Saturday, falling 82-59. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Cougars are ranked 16th).

Bradwell Institute has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points over those games. As for Rome, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 18-8.
