Basketball Recap: Clear Falls Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

If Brazoswood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Clear Falls, they should've done a better job of containing Kyndall King. The Clear Falls Knights claimed a resounding 64-19 win over the Brazoswood Buccaneers thanks in part to King, who went 8 for 12 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Shepherd, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points and four steals. Those 11 points gave her a new career-high.

Clear Falls' victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-10. As for Brazoswood, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Clear Falls will head out to challenge Clear Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brazoswood, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Clear Springs at 7:00 p.m. Brazoswood is facing Clear Springs at the right time seeing as Clear Springs is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
