Basketball Recap: Pasquotank County Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kenyatta Parker and Branden Smith

Pasquotank County lost against Hertford County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pasquotank County Panthers fell just short of the Hertford County Bears by a score of 65-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since December 28, 2023.

Branden Smith and Kenyatta Parker certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Smith went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points and five boards, while Parker went 7 of 14 en route to 19 points. Smith's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jayon Harris was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.
