Basketball Game Preview: Klein Bearkats vs. Magnolia West Mustangs

The Klein Bearkats will head out on the road to square off against the Magnolia West Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Magnolia West took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Klein, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Klein strolled past Tomball with points to spare, taking the game 59-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bearkats.

Meanwhile, Magnolia West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Tomball and fell 79-36. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly 43 points.

Klein is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Magnolia West, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.

Everything came up roses for Klein against Magnolia West in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 69-29 victory. In that matchup, Klein amassed a halftime lead of 42-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
