Softball Recap: Parkside Has No Trouble Against Arcadia

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Decatur, Parkside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Arcadia Firebirds as they made off with a 10-1 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.

Parkside's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Arcadia, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Parkside will square off against North Caroline on Monday. As for Arcadia, they will be playing at home against Holly Grove Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.2 runs per game on average), something the Firebirds will no doubt try to take advantage of.
