If Woods Cross wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Viewmont, they should've done a better job of containing Mary Carr. The Viewmont Vikings walked away with a 44-34 win over the Woods Cross Wildcats on Wednesday thanks in part to Carr, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Callie Peterson, who had nine points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played.

Woods Cross lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ili Crockett, who scored nine points. Mersadie Carroll also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Viewmont has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Woods Cross, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Viewmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 36-33 victory against Northridge on the 7th. As for Woods Cross, they have also already played their next game, a 58-30 win against Roy on the 7th.
