The Oakes Tornadoes will square off against the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Oakes came up short against Hillsboro/Central Valley and fell 10-5.

Chris Titus put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Titus was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3.

Titus wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Deagan Roehrich, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Oak Grove Lutheran faced Kindred in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Grovers came up short against the Vikings, falling 13-1. The Grovers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Oak Grove Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Oakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
