Baseball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Box Elder Bees

Roy is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Box Elder a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Roy Royals will host the Box Elder Bees at 3:00 p.m. Box Elder took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Roy, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Roy turned things around against Northridge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 16-6 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the Royals' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Box Elder's offense. They fell just short of Woods Cross by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday.

Box Elder saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Wight, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Roy's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-9. As for Box Elder, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
