Preview: San Antonio Christian Lions vs. St. Joseph Flyers
San Antonio Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the St. Joseph Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, San Antonio Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to Saint Mary's Hall. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for San Antonio Christian in their matchups with Saint Mary's Hall: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, St. Joseph scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Providence Catholic for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-28 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory St. Joseph has posted since December 21, 2023.
San Antonio Christian's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for St. Joseph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
