Baseball Recap: Western Heights Extends Winning Streak to Three

Western Heights came out on top against Anadarko on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Jets walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Warriors. The win was familiar territory for the Jets, who have now won three contests in a row.

Caden Wiebusch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Western Heights is 4-1 when Wiebusch posts two or more runs, but 8-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Keziah Howell, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Western Heights' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Anadarko, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Western Heights beat the Warriors by a score of 10-7 later that day.
