Basketball Recap: Providence Day Chargers vs. Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans
Providence Day lost against Wesleyan Christian Academy back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Providence Day Chargers received a blow as they fell 66-52 to the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans. The Chargers were down 52-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Providence Day saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ginny Anne Dumont posted 22 points along with eight boards and five assists. Dumont has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Katelyn Ramsden was another key player, going 5-for-8 on her way to 12 points and three steals.
