Basketball Recap: Lewis-Palmer Comes Up Short

Lewis-Palmer lost against Lutheran back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lewis-Palmer Rangers took a hard 45-29 fall against the Lutheran Lions. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Berkley Schneider, who posted 19 points and three steals. That's the most points Schneider has posted since back in February of 2024. Isla Koffmann was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 12 boards.

Lewis-Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Coming up, Lewis-Palmer will venture away from home to take on Discovery Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lutheran, they have already played their next contest, a 47-31 win against Pueblo County on the 15th.
