Football Recap: Banks County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Banks County extended their losing streak to ten on Friday, dropping them down to 0-10. They lost 42-20 to the Oglethorpe County Patriots. The Leopards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

As for Oglethorpe County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points over those games.

Oglethorpe County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zion Pass led the charge by rushing for 92 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. That's the most rushing yards Pass has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Paris Crowder, who rushed for 68 yards and one TD.

Banks County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oglethorpe County, after each having a week off, they and Elbert County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
