Basketball Game Preview: Central Rockets vs. Reagan Bison

Central has gone a perfect 3-0 against Reagan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Central Rockets will take on the Reagan Bison at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Central heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They fell 65-56 to Somerset Academy. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Central got top-tier performance from Keri Foster, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten boards, and nine assists. The game was Foster's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Willie Dye III was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 11 rebounds and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Reagan also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Somerset Academy by a score of 60-49.

Reagan's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8.

Central strolled past Reagan in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
