While Lakeview's win against Mineral Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs skirted past the Rams 3-2.

Lakeview wouldn't go down easily and took Mineral Ridge into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Ali Parise paced Lakeview's offense, picking up 19 kills. Parise got some help from Cece DeToro and her 44 assists. Leah Toth controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Mineral Ridge still got an impressive performance from Tomlyn Sandy, who had 16 digs.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Mineral Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Lakeview is taking a road trip to face off against Austintown-Fitch at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mineral Ridge, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Western Reserve on the 7th.
