Volleyball Recap: Titusville Comes Up Short

Titusville lost against Corry back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Beavers. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Corry was led to victory by Sydney Mineo and Brynley Watrous. Mineo had four digs and four aces, while Watrous had four digs. That's the most aces Mineo has posted since back in August of 2024. Alison Yetzer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Titusville's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Corry, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-0-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Corry beat Titusville by a score of 1-0 later that day.
