Basketball Recap: Pflugerville Connally Skates Past Brenham with Ease

Pflugerville Connally entered their tilt with Brenham on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Brenham Cubs 66-35.

Pflugerville Connally's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Phagans led the charge by going 8 for 17 on his way to 20 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Those five steals gave Phagans a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Doe, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 18 points.

Pflugerville Connally smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
