Union Grove came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Belleville West Maroons, falling 4-1. Union Grove's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Marley Busey, who's now up to four this season.

Union Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Belleville West, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

Union Grove will head out on the road to challenge Waterford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belleville West, they will challenge Wheaton Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Wheaton Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Belleville West surely won't give up without a fight.
