Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-5, 25-7.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences was led to victory by Maria Fernandez and Amanda Gardner. Fernandez had ten aces and eight assists, while Gardner had nine aces and six kills. That's the most assists Fernandez has posted over her last six games. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Dean, who had seven aces.

Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences' record now sits at 14-5. As for Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
