Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norwalk). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Ames Little Cyclones 53-0.

Norwalk's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Ames, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwalk will take on Iowa City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Little Hawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Ames, they will head out on the road to take on Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Little Cyclones will be up against the Roughriders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.25 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
