            Manual made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Thornton, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Manual was the clear victor by  a  20-0 margin over Thornton on Friday. With that  win, the Thunderbolts brought their scoring average up to 6.9  runs per game.

 Leo Zimmerman was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 5.6  strikeouts per game. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with five  RBI, three  runs,  and two  doubles. Manual is undefeated when  Zimmerman posts two or  more  runs, but 1-3 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Edgar Salas, who  scored four  runs and  stole five bases while going 3-for-4. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jesus Marquez, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Manual  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .721. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Manual now  has a winning record of 4-3. As for Thornton, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-5.
 Manual will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on DSST: Montview at 4:15  p.m.  on April 2. Manual is facing DSST: Montview at the right time seeing as DSST: Montview is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Thornton, they will head out on the road to  take on  Rangeview  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
