Game recap: Guilderland High School Football Team tops Colonie Central

Two missed two-point conversions cost Colonie Central (Albany, N.Y.) as they fell 38-35 to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, N.Y.).

The Flying Dutchman led 21-13 at halftime, but the Raiders recaptured the lead on a field goal by Andrew Sentz with under a minute left in the fourth.

Guilderland expanded its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. GHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by Frank Gallo to Brad Johnson.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Guilderland Center school, which was coming off a 31-18 defeat at the hands of Saratoga Springs in its previous game. The victory snapped Guilderland's two-game losing streak.
