After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alexander Central, Palisades was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Ballantyne Ridge Wolves. The Pumas haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Mariah Rushin, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zahria Montgomery, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Palisades' record is now 11-14. As for Ballantyne Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Looking ahead, Palisades will take on Ardrey Kell at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pumas' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. Ballantyne Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
