Baseball Recap: Mauldin Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mauldin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the River Bluff Gators a 6-0 shutout on Monday. The Mavericks not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22nd (when they won 8-2).

Mauldin pushed their record up to 12-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for River Bluff, their loss dropped their record down to 18-9.

As of now, neither Mauldin nor the Gators have any future games scheduled.
